Welcome Emma-Lis
Sales Manager Project
Welcome Emma-Lis
We welcome Emma-Lis Briggsjö to the team, where she will take on the role of Sales Manager for major project clients here at ArcelorMittal.
How did you join ArcelorMittal and what is your role?
After many years as a supplier to the construction and steel building industry, the step to ArcelorMittal Building Solutions felt natural. The company’s focus on quality, technical expertise and long-term relationships aligns well with the way I work.

Since 2 March 2026, I have held the position of Sales Manager Sweden, with responsibility for leading and developing sales towards major project customers and contributing to continued growth in the Swedish market.
Do you have previous experience in the industry?
Yes, I have extensive experience in the industry. For nearly two decades, I have worked as a Sales Engineer with overall responsibility for the sales process, focusing on sandwich panels, high-profile sheeting and related system solutions.

What does a typical workday look like?
No two days are the same, which I truly appreciate. My daily work involves driving sales forward through dialogue with project customers, supporting the sales team and working closely with internal functions.

A key part of the role is creating efficient flows all the way from us as a supplier to the customer. The goal is always to deliver competitive, sustainable and technically sound solutions that create real value for the customer and provide the team with the right conditions to succeed.
What is the biggest challenge in your new role?
The biggest challenge is to continue developing and strengthening ArcelorMittal Building Solutions’ position in the Swedish market, in an industry characterised by high demands, rapid change and increasing complexity. It is a market where expectations are constantly rising and competitiveness requires both clear direction and a long-term perspective.

An essential part of the assignment is to combine technical expertise and commercial awareness with the ability to keep pace with digital development. Staying ahead, adapting ways of working and turning new opportunities into tangible customer value are crucial for continued success.
At the same time, relationships and people are key. Building strong and long-term partnerships, both externally and internally, and uniting the team around shared goals are central to the role. Through clear leadership, engagement and collaboration, we create the conditions for sustainable results.
Ultimately, it is about driving growth with quality, responsibility and a future-oriented mindset in a way that ensures long-term value for both customers and employees.
What do you do in your spare time?
My free time is spent somewhere between a high pace and everyday realism. I follow my daughter’s floorball activities with great engagement, go running to clear my head, and enjoy cooking when creativity rather than time sets the agenda. Occasionally, everyday routines are replaced by a ride on my partner’s motorcycle, an effective way to gain new perspectives.

The rest of the time is devoted to life’s perhaps least glamorous but most reliable elements: spaghetti Bolognese, never-ending piles of laundry, mild cleaning panic — and the constant ambition to become better at actually doing nothing at all.
