Coatings guide
Already in the steel mill, our wall plates and roof plates are treated with coatings that determine performance and durability but also properties such as appearance and color.
Armat™ offers several different coating types adapted to use and external requirements.
The program also offers a newly developed corrosion protection/hot-dip galvanizing in a mixture of Zinc, Aluminum and Magnesium called ZM Evolution . The coating is more effective, provides faster healing of scratches and better protection against edge corrosion.
ZM Evolution is tested and approved by SITAC/SP.
Classic polyester coating based on polyester resin is the most economical system in applications requiring corrosivity class RC3. The system has a primer layer of 5µ and a top layer of 20µ. Overall, the system achieves a layer of 25µ.

Granite Deep Matt 35µ has a similar structure to Hairplus 25µ but with a matt surface layer. The coating is therefore slightly thicker. Overall, the system achieves a layer of 35µ. Hairultra 35µ is a coating with similar properties but which makes it possible to obtain the beautiful color Red Antic 78TC.

High-quality coating with extra thick coating layer. Very good color retention and scratch resistance. Hairexcel consists of a 30µ primer layer and a 30µ top layer. Overall, the system achieves a layer of 60µ.

High-quality coating that, like Hairexcel, has an extra thick coating layer. Very good color retention and scratch resistance. Granite HFX Cool has a total layer of 55µ and the name "Cool" means that it is excellently suited for Nordic climates. The coating is only applied to sheet metal intended for sheet metal work. Steel sheet AMM and AMS have this uniquely adapted coating to be able to flexibly maintain good adhesion during processing such as strip covering and fitting manufacturing.

Qualitative coating with a thick coating layer. Good color retention and high scratch resistance mean that we have chosen GreenCoat RWS for our own rainwater system, including with a double-sided GreenCoat coating. A total of 35µ per side.

Interior 12µ
A thin protective coating for indoor use. The simple, thin structure gives the premises a brighter feel compared to, for example, untreated sheet metal. In the thinner coating, some nuance differences may occur. Intereur 12µ is commonly used, for example, on the underside of load-bearing high profiles and as a simple inside coating on sandwich panels.
ZM Evolution
Unpainted surface with only one durable metallization layer. Unique material, developed by ArcelorMittal, where an effective corrosion layer is achieved through a mixture of Zinc, Aluminum and Magnesium. ZM Evolution has been shown in tests to have better properties than its predecessor. Overall, the mixture consists of 120 gr/m2 (which corresponds to 275 gr/m2 hot-dip galvanizing).
Aluzinc
Unpainted surface with only one durable metallization layer. Proven material with good corrosion properties, built around a mixture of, among other things, Aluminum and Zinc. Good self-healing properties.
